Just got the Phyrexia VS The Coalition Duel Decks. I have taken some shots for the cards, they are pretty cool and classic, these ready-to-play 60 card decks include some of the best cards in MTG history. This duel decks box set comes with two mythic rares and ten rare cards.
Six of the cards feature new artwork and foil alternative-art versions.

I'm actually tempted, I wonder how much these are over here in the UK...

I've not actually looked into these sets before, anybody have anything to say about them?

if you check the value of each cards, surely, its higher than the box set price.

Oh yeah, I have no doubts it'll be cheaper for the whole box, I was just thinking it's a shame you guys are US based and I'm in the UK! :(

I have bought several of the previous ones, but I will tell you that they are only worth buying if you already have everything you essentially need for Magic. If your having fun, go ahead and buy them but competitively its worth it to take your 20 dollars and buy a playset of Negator than buy this or buy some other expensive cards you actually need and are going to play. They always tend to be fun, but one deck usually is more powerful than the other unfortunately.

Well you see here. I've gotten it. The coalition is absolutely no match for the Phyrexia and it's ability to chip at your life, while the coalition attempts to make it up with beefy creatures. Now the REAL fun is Bazaar Trader the Negator over to the other player and shock the hell out of it causing them to discard EVERYTHING. Tournament tested. Funny as hell. :D

My friend bought a box saturday at the GP and played a few games. He said it sucked and it wasn't worth buying.

But hey, you get a lightning greaves, one of the better cards in the game.
