The new 2010 is coming out and I was wandering if anybody has seen any cards from the set. If so list the web site that you seen them at and what cards thay are.

Hoping to hear back from any body soon.:)

P.S. before the spoilers come out.

I was looking at the spoiler from mtgsalvation.com and I saw a card that was called Golden Lotus:

Golden Lotus
Legendary Land
Shroud
Golden Lotus enters the battlefield tapped.
When Golden Lotus enters the battlefield, sacrifice three lands, or sacrifice Golden Lotus.
Sacrifice Golden Lotus: Add nine mana in any combination of colors to your mana pool.


That seems a little far-fetched. So by turn 4, I can add 9? Yeah right.
(If this is really in Magic 2010, Im shooting myself)

I heard that mana burn gets thrown out as well but that's just a rumor. and yeah that golden lotus is BS. same as that cascading swans deck.

the pain lands are out, I read that on the magic the gathering web site and that the planeswakers from lorwyn are in it to.

The rule changes really clear up some aspects of the game. I feel this is for the better...

I like the changes, though I think my friends and I were already using deathtouch and lifelink as static abilities. I wonder if the xbox live game will be updated with these rules.

no mana burn, no "with damage on the stack", new dual lands that don't come into play tapped but you need a coresponding basic land out, mana pools empty every step now, they're re-doing phasing and banding, more to come...
