First off, let me say hello, and let everyone know that I am "new again", if you will, to the WoW TCG. I played a lot back in the first two sets, but then stopped playing until right around Wrathgate (though I still picked up cards here and there), and ultimately you can read the title of this thread for what I am bulding now.
That said, I threw together a warrior deck using Lionar, the Bloodcursed.
I was wondering if I could get any advice on how to make it better (if it helps any, I play MtG all the time, have for ages), and without further ado, here is what it's made of:
Hero: Lionar, the Bloodcused
Master Hero: Illidan Stormrage
Allies:
2 - Fel Cannon
2 - Warlord Kalithresh
6 - Coilfang Myrmidon
Abilities:
3 - Salt the Wound
3 - Taste for Blood
Equipment:
1 (of each):
Warglaive of Azzinoth, Left Hand of the Betrayer
Warglaive of Azzinoth, Right Hand of the Betrayer
Greatsword of Forlorn Visions
Zin'rokh, Destroyer of Worlds
Doomplate Warhelm
Doomplate Shoulderpads
Bonefist Gauntets
Ornate Adamantium Breastplate
Girdle of Rezuvious
Wristguards of True Flight
Riveted Abomination Leggings
Platinum Shield of the Valorous
Quests & Locations:
2 - The Restless Dead
2 - The Overseer's Shadow
4 - Hidden Enemies
2 - Arathi Basin
Total: 40 (if my math is correct.)
The idea was to cycle through my deck quickly to find what I need, recycling the graveyard if needed, and ultimately dropping Illidan and using his abilities to power through the late game. I felt apprehensive about leaving my hero open completely, so I tossed in the set of armor to try and keep him in one piece until Illidan showed up to finish things up, using Forlorn to buff the armor, and Zin'rokh if they got too far ahead while the cannons and Coilfang handled the rest.
Was trying to make it a fast deck, but I'm not sure how well it will play out.
Thoughts?
