i used to moderate a few forums and i know from experience that sometimes, less is more. consolidate forums that can be grouped together, which increases traffic per forum since there will be less of them. makes the forums look and feel more active, which encourages more people to post.
for example: combine all the gameplay forums (standard, legacy, extended, vintage, casual etc.) into a single gameplay forum, and another forum for discussion about deck building. and allow the users to organize their own posts via titles (e.g. help with "monogreen standard deck" or "casual strategies" for some made up names)
as it is right now some forums have a few responses back and forth per day, while others havent been touched in months.
