Braid of Fire + combo

Question. I'm running a playset of braid of fire, a rare from time spiral.

enchantment 2 converted mana, cumulative upkeep add r mana to your mana pool at your upkeep.

so... obviously, i can't use this mana during my main phases, attack phase, or even my draw step.

anyways, i heard about a card that makes it so your mana doesn't empty during each step, meaning i could have braid of fire out, stacking and multiplying each turn, as well as tapping land and not paying with it to use it next turn as well.

I'm running a burn deck with conflagrate, aha, the combo.

but i do not know the name of the card that allows mana to transfer between phases!

extended type deck, obviously. help me with the name please!

i dont know of any card that allows you to carry mana between phases, but Vedalken Orrery achieves almost the same effect for you. (4) Artifact: You may play non-land cards whenever you could play instants.

the beginning phase is a 3 step phase. untap, upkeep, draw. the mana technically is available to you till the end of your draw step.

I'm a bit late on this, and you may well know this by now, but the card you're thinking about is Upwelling. Saw printings in 10th edition and the Scourge set. 4 CMC (3G) and rules text is "mana pools don't empty at the ends of (oracle: steps,) turns or phases"

There is a green enchantment that has a cumulative upkeep as well that lets you search your deck for a creature of Cmc = the upkeep of the enchantment. Best combo I know of for braid. Or primordial ooze but is subject to removal.
