progenitus vs clone

ok so my buddy and i were playing a match and he played progenitus and i on my next turn played a clone card i was wondering how these two cards would react to each other in battle

do they both negate each other or does both their damage go to each person or do they kill each other?

any time and thought into this would be greatly appreciated

Once you play Clone and choose Progenitus they both die due to the Legendary Rule.
