Then college and life got in the way. Was moving the other day, found some of my OLD decks, and re-kindled something inside.

Looking to create something tournament viable for the current Type II (as of Oct. 1st, 2010). Here is a theoretical deck I devised, VERY rough idea. Would like to hone this or create something from this (directly) that would be viable in the current Type II (should I decide to get back in the scene).

The basic idea surrounds around the new Mindslaver card (artifact). It runs on elves for quick, non-land mana; protects itself with countermagic (some of which tapping the opponent for mana to stop); it also eats at a good portion of the opponent's library, blindly (hopefully) ditching some important cards to their strategy (and all around ticking them off). The kill comes, when ready, with a large Fireball (or Fireballs).

The core card (I thought was interesting -- though pricey to play) was the Mindslaver. With this, I'd hope to steal the opponent's ability to take their turn, each time, once it is in play. The spells above would protect the Mindslaver during my own turn.

Anyhow, would like thoughts and suggestions to improve this and make it work (if possible). I appreciate it!

I've looked at the card and have no idea of a good use for it except for cheap draw for an aggro deck. I would like to see some good ideas to abuse the card.

Here goes i was actually trying to create a new deck from my own stock of cards and i came across my set of Dragonmaster Outcast, and wondered if i could make a deck with them, but i wanted to use the colors of Jund:manar::manab::manag:

and also with the help of a bit of control in the deck with the combo i thought about with use of Scarland Thrinax and Act of Treason, kinda like control, attack, Devour... leaving no creatures in the opponents field..

i cant afford 4 primevil titans, otherwise i would have those instead of the terastodons, but i cant...

i was thinking of replacing the kozilek's predators, and one of the it that betrays with the 4 elvish pipers... but im not sure.

i also wanted to include elvish archdruids in the deck, but im not sure how? unless i dropped the terastodons completely, but then i have nothing that hits hard in the deck EXCEPT the eldrazi themselves, so i would be screwed if i didnt get them out quick enough.

When I give these files to Ian, they will be print ready on sheets of paper with approx 9 per page and all you will have to do is go to some print shop and have them print off each sheet on card stock paper. I would recommend getting sleeves for these since there is no back on them and to make them slightly more real feeling. Unforuntely you guys will have to cut this shit out which is a big pain. Haha, but in my opinion the raid is worth it.

When this raid goes live, all I am saying is be careful on the choices your raid makes, because it could really screw you over in the end. :D

Recommend Players: 3-5
Bosses: 4 (But three boss encounters;))
Difficulty: 8

This raid was made to have some fun and not take forever doing so. It's not meant to last all day by any means. :)

:manau:Keep the deck simple, but still competitive. A beginner might have a harder time playing if their cards have complex abilities.
:manaw:You can use any cards from any set, but maybe use some classic beginner cards like Grizzly Bears, Giant Growth etc.
