Magic: The Gathering theme decks are pre-built decks available from Wizards of the Coast that contain a fixed set of Magic: The Gathering cards. These pre-built decks are a great way new players to get into the game and give existing players a good base to build a deck from. Seeing as deck building is our game we thought it would be a good idea to get all of these theme decks into the Vault to give people some ideas and inspiration.
Bold is the set name the theme deck is from. Linked are the completed decks, with credit given to the user who did the dirty work. Plain text are the decks given no love; cold and alone in a bitter, cruel world. Thank you guys for making tis as this is a great help to the community.
However, I noticed that you did not have the Garruk vs. Liliana Duel decks here, so I figured that I would post the and "give" the links to you. Garruk's Deck Liliana's Deck

If you are new to Mtg I suggest buying two of the same decks so you can build a 60 card deck and have multiples of the same card. This is much cheaper than buying lots of packs to get multiple copies of uncommons and even commons to build a deck. If you can get a pre-con's deck list check out the colors/cards in it and see if it is one you would play if you made it more focused - build it around a base of 9 key cards with 4 copies of each (4 x 9 = 36) and 24 lands. Your deck may only have two rares in it after buying two pre-cons, but during booster drafts or by trading you can obtain additional rares, etc. to tune your deck to the focus you want to achieve.
Newer decks have 40 card decks and a 15 card booster pack. So you will have two boosters which may or may not add to your deck. But from the 80 cards you should make a 60 card deck and have 20 cards to pick from for a 15 card sideboard - and you have the extra 30 random cards to enhance your deck or sideboard with. |

To improve this deck, two decks double all the creatures double all the creatures = 26. Remove Kor Kartographers 4x that will leave room for 2x Wind Bane Charges (Only spells left in ) It will give you 4x Pacifisms and 6x pieces of equipment. (Note equipment can be improved by the two booster packs or using equipment you already have, etc.) Add two 2x Armament Masters because he makes your Army hard to defeat. Run 20 plains Lands and 4x Kabira CrossRoads. (Note: switch Cross Roads for Sejiri Steppe because it helps you to attack & win) So for less than $5 you can improve your deck with the additional Armament Masters & Sejiri Steppes.
If you decide to go more weenie speed consider adding 4x Kor Outfitters, two more Kor Duelist and two more Kor Skyfishers. Remove two Serra Angels and two Wind bane charges and 4 Plains to turbo charge its speed. |
